| Top: The
event began Friday night at Kenny Brown Performance. Kenny hosted the
meet and greet and after dinner we did dyno pulls for those that signed
up in advance. Top Right: Kenny Brown had a 2005 mule and his engineering department had begun work on their 2005 suspension products. Couldn't peak. They wouldn't let me. Right: A huge surprise at the instructors meeting on Saturday. Mark Wilson, our host and Ford employee, had arranged to have a Ford GT and a 05 Mustang GT there and we could drive them, at speed, on track. |

| In the seat and ready to go. The car was a production car with air bags and DOT seat restraints. The starter button gave me some trouble. I had forgotten it had one and was attempting to start the car with the key. Duh!!! |

| A feeble attempt to catch me on film at 160 mph+ on the front straignt. |

| Two very happy guys. The condition of driving the car was that you had to take a passenger. Both the driver and passenger made a donation to the local charity and Ford engineers picked up the cost of the gas. Since the car rarely stood still over the two days, I suspect that the charity made out quite well and the Ford guys exercised their credit card frequently. |

| Right and Below Right: The local chapter asked for a volunteer to look over the brakes on the Mustang GT Sunday morning. I was happy to do it. I got a chance to see the brake setup first hand and since I carry virtually every tool I own with me when I travel, I was pretty sure I wouldn't have a problem. Everything checked out and we were on track all day Sunday. The car got red-eye from the camera flash (it was early). |
