Summit Point, West Virginia 2004

Yours truly in my photo op with the Ford GT. Ed League, a Ford power train engineer, brought the car down to Summit Point so the attending faithful could get a ride. A donation to a local charity got you two laps in the car as a passenger. Ed was very busy on Saturday and the local charity got some needed cash to support the good work they do.
When the car arrived, it didn't take long for a crowd to form.
Absolutely amazing engineering. I was unaware that I was to find out how amazing first hand in a few weeks.
This event made number two for the year.
